James Millar producer James (Jamie) Millar is a producer with Tapestry Networks – a company that helps market leaders realize the value in their customer and partner relationships through exclusive dialogues on strategic issues. A creative problem solver and change agent, Jamie has consistently redefined the rules for the companies and industries in which he has worked. Jamie’s interest and expertise in leader networks grew during his tenure as Chairman of the MBA Admissions Board and Director of Financial Aid for the Harvard Business School. Jamie led the effort to transform the school’s financial aid structure, including its well-publicized partnership with Citibank for student loans. Before joining Tapestry Networks, Jamie led Bonfire Consulting, a firm specializing in the application of social network principles to strategic business opportunities. Other past affiliations include IntellectExchange where he was Vice President of Client Services, Fidelity Investments’ online brokerage business, and Morgan Stanley & Co. in their New York and Toronto offices. Jamie graduated with honors from the University of Toronto in industrial engineering, and received his masters in business administration from the Harvard Business School. Jamie lives in Bedford, MA with his wife and three children. An avid musician and performer, Jamie once played keyboards in Tiny Tim’s band and is currently learning to play the electric guitar.
