Bob O’Brien

Bob O’Brien joined Corning in March 2005 as Global Market Forecast Manager, with responsibility for forecasting the demand for LCD glass based on demand for end market applications.

Bob has a long experience in the display industry, starting in 1987 as an engineer designing electron guns for CRTs.  For 16 years with Philips Display Components and later LG Philips Displays, Bob worked in engineering, marketing and business planning roles, covering all display technologies and directly working in plasma displays in addition to CRTs.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied and Engineering Physics from Cornell University and a Masters of Business Administration degree with High Distinction from the University of Michigan Business School.
